Bobby Ray Meacham, SR. died April 2, 2012, at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. Bobby was born February 20, 1937 in Oklahoma to Frank Marion and Opal Ward Meacham. Bobby married Marilyn Louise Cox in Sioux City, Iowa on November 14, 1956, they were married for 55 years.
Bobby enjoyed the outdoors, including golf. He liked to watch sports and loved being with and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by Bogus and Rex his faithful dogs. He is survived by his faithful dog Huckleberry who surely misses him.
Bobby is survived by his wife, two sons, Merle (Lana)of Mesquite, NV; Scott (Shandy) of Mesquite, NV, three daughters, Loraine K. Pitteruff of New York, Robin (Al) Estes-McNiel of Mesquite, NV and Paula J. (Ian) Cazabat of Kansas. He also leaves 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bobby is preceded in death by his son Bobby Ray Jr. And his brother Wesley Rod Hindman.
A viewing will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV at 10:00 a.m.
