Bettywynn Warburton
Bettywynn Lois Gogert Warburton, 91, (Overton, NV/Anchorage, AK/Quartzsite, AZ/Auburndale, FL) passed away in her home on June 26th. She would of turned 92 on August 10th. She was born August 10, 1926 in Dodge County, Wisconsin to William and Hedwig Rauschenberger Gogert.
Bettywynn had a very full life living in Alaska 60 plus years. She helped with the building of a log cabin at the base of Mt McKinley where they spent the summers for about 15 years and winters traveling to Hawaii as well as places unknown and in Quartzsite, AZ, where they also had a home. They enjoyed dune buggying, rock hounding and fishing. Her life was not boring. Family would spend many a Thanksgiving with Bettywynn when visiting in California and made trips to Arizona to visit her as well. She loved family get togethers when she visited in Wisconsin.
She is survived by numerous nieces & nephews and brother-in-law Charles Oliver. She was preceeded in death by her parents Hattie and William Gogert; former husband Ken Warburton; sisters: Eloise, Erlyne(Ken)LaBowe, Irv Kreger, Veleda(Harold)Grabow, Nelda(Elmer)Kasper, Harriet(Herb)Witthuhn, Wilma(Roland)Adelmeyer and their husbands plus Marlis (Charles)Oliver; brothers: Marland, William, Robert(Phyllis Hoppe) and Warren(Rose).
