Beth Wadsworth Olson passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born July 28, 1929 in Chinook, Montana to Eli Arnold and Sara Ann Humpherys Wadsworth. On October 7, 1949 she married her sweetheart (who shared her birthday), Roy Christian Olsen in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Beth grew up in Chinook, Montana until the age of ten when her family moved to Ammon, Idaho. After her marriage to Roy, they settled in Iona, Idaho and began adding children to their family. In 1968 they moved to Mountain Home, Idaho and in 1973 they finally settled in Las Vegas, Nevada. They opened their hearts to two more children (Julie Brown Woods and Jim Woods) who will always claim Beth and Roy as their parents.

Beth taught many piano lessons and, together with Roy, owned and operated a wedding reception center and flower shop, creating many arrangements and plants for many homes and businesses over the years. She served faithfully in many callings in the various organizations of the church. She enjoyed painting, playing the piano and singing but mostly she enjoyed visiting with people.

Survivors include her husband, Roy of Las Vegas, NV; three sons and two daughters: Gail (Colleen) of Sandy, UT, DelRay (Debra) of Las Vegas, NV, Val (Mari Jo) of Las Vegas, NV, Terri Brooks of Stanley, ND, Lynda (Vern) Dimick of Logandale, NV; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; one sister, Zella Roberts of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Meadows Third Ward Chapel, 5800 Carl Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada. Viewing will be held at the chapel 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 12-1 p.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Ave. Idaho Falls, Idaho. Interment will follow in the Iona Cemetery, Iona, Idaho.
