Benjamin Ross Westra

Benjamin Ross Westra, age 49, passed away December 5, 2020 at his home in Mesquite, NV.  He was born April 5, 1971 in Colorado to Lloyd and Kathryn Betty Flowers Westra.  He married Marissa Dolores Wilson on August 30, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV.

Benjamin grew up in Greybull, Wyoming.  At the age of 16, he moved to Chula Vista, California and then at the age of 20, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.  Benjamin was a truck driver for many years.  He loved watching wrestling and listening to his favorite hard rock band, Metallica.
He was a loving husband and father.  In 2004, he moved to Mesquite, NV.  He loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Marissa of Mesquite, NV, his brother, Donald Westra, Marcel and Robyn Smith; who were like parents to him and his best friends; Michael Coyle and John Stauffer.  He is preceded in death by his mother; Kathryn and two step-children; Trevor and Troy Nielson.
