Belarmino B. Blea
Belarmino Bernie Blea, age 85, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada from cardiovascular problems. He was born September 4, 1925 in Cerro, New Mexico to Andres and Floripa Martinez Blea. He married Marie R. Trujillo on September 29, 1947 in Ouray, Colorado.
Bernie was raised and educated in Cerro, New Mexico. He belonged to the Local 182 Brotherhood of Boilermakers, working for 35 years specializing in heliarc and alloys. He loved his family and life, and especially enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Marie R. Blea of Mesquite, NV; daughter, Jenny R. Blea Anderson (Kenneth) of Salt Lake City, UT; granddaughter, Amanda R. Anderson of Salt Lake City UT; sisters, Cleo of Denver, CO, Marvin of Aurora, CO and Selma of Cerro, NM; and brother, Romolo of Taos, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, Andres; mother, Floripa; sisters, Sophie, Della and Molly; and brother, Anselmo.
