Barbara Ann Damron

Barbara Ann Damron, age 66, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 peacefully at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born September 13, 1949 in Tacoma, Washington to Edward Joseph and Charlotte Mae Frodsham Benoit. On January 13, 1980 she married Thomas "Tom" Walter Damron in Seattle, Washington. Barbara lived most of her life in Washington, until retiring to Mesquite, Nevada in July of 2015. She loved being a homemaker, she enjoyed canning, sewing, baking and cooking. Strengthening her family was important throughout her life. She did clerical work for several companies including in the banking industry and for World Vision, a non profit Christian Charity. Her Christian faith was the bedrock of her character. She had a 'million dollar smile' and made friends easily. Survivors include her sweetheart, Tom of Mesquite; one son and two daughters: Dean (Theresa) of Puyallup, WA; Deana Stull of Las Vegas, NV; Dawn (Pat) Cairus of Stanwood, WA; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Rose Benoit of Port Angeles, WA; Mike (Linda) Benoit of Vanetta, OR and Vance Benoit of Port Angeles, WA. She was preceded in death by one brother, Tom. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Forest Park Cemetery in Concrete, Washington. A Celebration of Life will be held in Mesquite, Nevada at a later date.
