Anita Mildred Roberts FuQua, 88, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born November 26, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma to George Francis Roberts and Ruth Mary Bryant Roberts. She married Ronald C. FuQua on November 03, 1950 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
She was born and raised in Seminole, Oklahoma. She attended Good Hope Elementary, Varnum and Seminole High School. She and dad worked at National Concrete (owned by Grandad Robert Neal FuQua) until it closed. Mom and dad lived all over the US (Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, etc.) as dad was a truck driver and mom was an apartment manager. She retired in Las Vegas where she attended MT. Olive Lutheran Church. She was a faithful Christian who loved her Savior Jesus Christ. Her favorite pastime was bingo, scrabble, garage sales, and loving on her grandkids.
She is survived by her son Randal Keith FuQua and his wife Ana FuQua; her daughter Rhonda Shaye FuQua Fritch and her husband John Edward Fritch II; her grandchildren: Ezra & Bronya FuQua, Darion & Erica FuQua, Davion & Courtney FuQua, Jennifer & Joseph Goldsmith, Valerie & Josh Lenzotti, Jonna Fritch, and Israel Fritch; her great-grandchildren: Kerr, Vince, Haley, Sean, Josh, Kira, Lexi, Kyle, Ellie, Casey, Cora, Miles, and Hunter; her great-great grandchild McKenna. Moreover, she is survived by her sister Judith & Ron Ballard, Deanna FuQua, Sharon Roberts, and many more relatives, nieces, and nephews who she loved very much and were very special to her.
A very small private family memorial will be held for her. No flowers need to be sent. If you want to do pay tribute to her, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.
