Alyssa Sayago

Alyssa Mariah Sayago, age 19, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born January 2, 1998 in South Lake Tahoe, California to Sael Salin and Riena Melyssa Sipe Sayago.

Alyssa spent her first five years in the Tahoe / Carson area before moving to Las Vegas to start first grade. She graduated from Centennial High School where she excelled at cheerleading. She was attending CSN with a desire to go to Calgary, Canada to study Kinestiology. She loved working out, kick boxing and her job as a sign spinner. Becoming a strength and conditioning coach was her dream. She loved Disneyland and visiting Huntington Beach. She was smart, beautiful and driven. She had a gift for seeing the good in others.

Survivors include her parents: Sael and Sabrina Sayago of Las Vegas, NV; her sister, Cassandra Kowal and nephew, Elijah Navarro both of Rancho Cardova, CA; grandfather, Julio Sayago of Venezuela; grandmother, Gisela Sanchez-Medero and great grandmother, Jeorgelina Medero both of Florida.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Azure Stake Center, 10070 Azure Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89149. Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. and again Tuesday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Azure Stake Center. Interment will follow in the Palm Northwest Cemetery.
