Alyce Glorietta Miner

Alyce Glorietta Miner, age 60, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 in rural Clark County, Nevada due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born December 13, 1949 in Missouri to Samuel Caldwell and Clarice Floyd Ellsworth. She married Roosevelt Tillis, they had two children and were later divorced. She then married Harold Brent Miner.
Alyce grew up in Illinois. As a young woman, she moved to Southern California where she raised her three children. In 1970 she moved to Pocoima, California. She was a very talented singer, pianist and choir director and loved to share her talents with her church family. Church and family were the things she loved and put her energy into.
Survivors include her husband, Brent Miner of Tehachapi, CA; two sons, David (Ronna) Ellsworth of Corona, CA; Matthew Tillis of Tehachapi, CA; one daughter, Nakita Tillis of Pacoima, CA; seven grandchildren; one brother, Sam Ellsworth of LA and one sister, Jo (Johnny) Tillis of Santa Clarita, CA.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
