Alma Rosa Lujan
Alma Rosa Lujan, 14, died May 31, 2012 in Scenic, Arizona. She was born December 15, 1997 in Salt Lake City, UT to Manuel and Lucia Castro-Lujan.
Alma began her life in Wendover, UT, and migrated to Mesquite, Nevada in 1998. Alma attended Beaver Dam Middle School. She disliked negative comments and always turned everything into a positive. She always said hello to everyone, and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She spent most of her time, like most teenagers, curling her hair, clowning around, trying on new things and being silly. She loved the outdoors, swimming, kids and animals. Alma wanted to be a photographer. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She always used the word, Y.O.L.O, (you only live once).
A visitation will be held, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at La Virgen De Guadalupe Catholic Church, 401 Canyon Crest Blvd., Mesquite, NV, funeral service will follow at Noon. Interment will be at the Mesquite City Cemetery immediately following the service.
Alma leaves behind her parents Manuel and Lucia, her sister Yesenia Lujan, brothers Manuel and Guadalupe Lujan and nieces Aaliyah and Terrin Lujan.
