Alice Truman Frehner, age 85, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born April 30, 1928 in St. George, Utah to Richard and Gailey Belle Sprague Truman. On April 25, 1947she married Edward Albert "Ted" Frehner in Logandale, Nevada. On December 12, 1964 they were sealed in the St. George LDS Temple. They had four children and later divorced.
Alice grew up in Moapa Valley. She raised her family in Las Vegas where she was a successful business woman in the trucking industry. She was a devoted and loyal mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her loyalty, integrity and fortitude.
Survivors include one son, Terry (Sherrie) Frehner of Overton, NV; one daughter, Janelle (John Cook) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three brothers: Dick (Pat); Grant (Ingrid) both of Las Vegas and Ron (Sandy) of ID. She was preceded in death by two sons, Chris and Gregory, two grandsons and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Beverly Glen LDS Chapel, 375 N. Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
