Alexander Macias

Alexander Macias, age 43, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at his home in Moapa, Nevada. He was born August 18, 1966 in Phoenix, Arizona to Genaro and Patircia Macias.
Alexander lived most of his life in Phoenix, Arizona, close to his family and many friends. After high school, Alex continued his education and received his beautician's license. Alex truly enjoyed working as a stylist and he made many lasting friendships. In 2004, he moved to Moapa, Nevada and met his companion, Jimmy Begay. Alex was an easygoing, fun-loving and kind spirit who could always make you smile and see the bright side of things. Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Alex was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Williams of Phoenix, AZ; his companion, Jimmy Begay of Moapa, NV; sister, Corrina Macias; brothers, Genaro and Albert Macias; nieces, nephews, cousins and many others he considered family, all of Phoenix, AZ. A public visitation will be held in Alexander's honor on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, Nevada. Cremation will follow.
